Revolving Rake Screen
The ABZ ProCat revolving rake screen can be equipped and employed as a gap or perforated-plate screen and combines the advantages of a revolving rake screen with robust and functional mechanics. With the hydraulic performance of simply perfused rakes and an inclined, replaceable rake screen, this machine offers a maximum flow cross-sectional area.
Various designs
facilitate implementation as a coarse or fine screen, as well as use as a trough or container unit. Vertical transport of the screened matter from the trough is very space saving and operates highly efficiently without the use of water spray. Carrying of screened matter into downstream system components is prevented by the design.
Operating principle
The wastewater flows through the rake screen made of streamlined stainless steel triangular profiles. The contaminants are held back and collected by robust removal plates directly on the channel bed, which transport them to the discharge area where they are stripped or jettisoned.
